Tis the Season for Giving

Greetings all! I hope everyone is having a great holiday season, no matter what or where you celebrate.

A lot is going on in the month of December. Make sure you follow Dents and Dreams on Facebook to keep up with the latest.

Whether you’re looking forward to Christmas, Hannukah, or Kwanza, no doubt gift-giving is part of your holiday ritual. So, check out the information below to get some gift ideas with an automotive twist.

Gifts for Drivers:

If you’re a driver, you probably don’t need to think very hard about the kinds of things you would appreciate on long road trips or even just short jaunts across town.

  • Driving gloves make a great gift, especially for drivers in the Northland. And what driver wouldn’t appreciate an extra pair? I mean, we all lose at least one glove a year…right?

  • Organizers made especially for your car represent the perfect gift for salespeople or other individuals who find themselves driving for their profession.

  • First aid kits are a must, especially during winter months. And why not throw in a practical blanket and a pillow or two while you’re at it?

  • Novelty gifts for the driver who has everything might bring a smile. Gifts like these socks also serve a practical purpose.

  • Gas and Service Gift cards come in handy, especially for those on your lists who may be on a tight budget.

Gifts for Non-Drivers:

Some people drive or own a car, but they still need to get from point A to point B occasionally.

  • Lyft and Uber Gift cards make great gifts for those needing transportation. You can even add someone to your Uber or Lyft account.

  • Bus and metro cards make good practical gifts for those using public transportation.

Dent Reaper Swag and more:

PDR folks and other fans of Dent Reaper will get a kick out of their very own Dent Reaper sweatshirt or coffee mug. You’ll find all kinds of gift ideas here. Or, if you’re gifting to someone in the trade, check out some cool tools and gadgets for sale.

And Speaking of Giving…

It’s also a great time of year to give to your favorite charity or nonprofit. Whether you’re supporting the arts, helping find a cure for a dreaded disease, or giving to those less fortunate, it really is more blessed to give than receive when you’re making the World a better place.

You’ll also find a lot of matches going on during the holiday season, which means your gift goes even further. Make sure to check with your employer to see if they’ll match your donation. Most large and even some smaller companies will match many 501c 3s.

And as always, if you get dents and dings while holiday shopping, you know to contact us here. We'll fix your car or even your sleigh (Santa).

Have a great holiday season, everyone!
